Meaning & purpose
The Sky Lantern Festival is a time to express gratitude and respect to the Buddha, and to pray for peace in the world and happiness for those we hold dear.
As we watch the lantern light, we return to the breath and share a moment of calm. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religion, age, or nationality.

Safe sky lanterns
This event uses safe LED sky lanterns with no flame and no free flight.

infoThere is no shuttle service from the station.
Approximately 80 parking spaces are available. Reservations are not accepted and spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The lot may fill, so please carpool where possible.
Important notices
We prepare lanterns, food, equipment, and staffing in advance based on the number of applications, so refunds cannot be offered after booking. Please review this policy before applying.
Please check ingredients and allergen information and decide for yourself whether to consume food provided at the venue. Complete allergen removal and prevention of unintended cross-contact cannot be guaranteed. Guests with severe allergies should refrain from eating or contact each vendor in advance.
Pets are welcome. They must remain on a leash or in a cage or pet stroller. Please supervise them at all times and take responsibility for appropriate care, including waste disposal.
All smoking is prohibited, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and heated tobacco products.
Alcohol will not be sold at the venue, and bringing alcohol into the venue is prohibited.
Outside food and drinks are limited to drinking water, meals for infants, or items required for health reasons. Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Please bring your own wheelchair, as none are available to borrow. The venue does not have a wheelchair-accessible or barrier-free toilet.
