Meaning & purpose
One light, one wish
The Sky Lantern Festival is a time to express gratitude and respect to the Buddha, and to pray for peace in the world and happiness for those we hold dear.
As we watch the lantern light, we return to the breath and share a moment of calm. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religion, age, or nationality.

Parking
Approximately 80 parking spaces are available. Reservations are not accepted and spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The lot may fill, so please carpool where possible.

Cancellation policy｜No refunds after bookingadd
We prepare lanterns, food, equipment, and staffing in advance based on the number of applications, so refunds cannot be offered after booking. Please review this policy before applying.
Food allergiesadd
Please check ingredients and allergen information and decide for yourself whether to consume food provided at the venue. Complete allergen removal and prevention of unintended cross-contact cannot be guaranteed. Guests with severe allergies should refrain from eating or contact each vendor in advance.
Petsadd
Pets are welcome. They must remain on a leash or in a cage or pet stroller. Please supervise them at all times and take responsibility for appropriate care, including waste disposal.
Smoke-free venueadd
All smoking is prohibited, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and heated tobacco products.
Alcoholadd
Alcohol will not be sold at the venue, and bringing alcohol into the venue is prohibited.
Bringing food and drinksadd
Outside food and drinks are limited to drinking water, meals for infants, or items required for health reasons. Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Wheelchairs and accessible toiletsadd
Please bring your own wheelchair, as none are available to borrow. The venue does not have a wheelchair-accessible or barrier-free toilet.

Yes. The ceremony is held outdoors, and if it rains we move it into an indoor venue. In strong wind, or for other safety reasons, the format may change.
Q.Do the sky lanterns use fire?expand_more
No. They use LED lights and are tethered to prevent free flight.
Q.Is there a shuttle from the station?expand_more
No. The venue is about 10 minutes by car or taxi from Ogane Station.
Q.Can I reserve parking?expand_more
No. Around 80 spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q.Can children and pets attend?expand_more
